Need a reliable damper for a retrofit project? Consider Enertech’s R-650 Damper!
The R-650 damper was developed in response to retrofit projects, it incorporates a metal multi-point cross flow and bell-mouth for a smooth laminar flow. It is a round damper that any actuator can be applied too and it is available in sizes from 5 inches to 16 inches in even inch increments making there an R-650 for every application. The damper comes with a differential pressure sensor for picking up Velocity Pressure. It can also be used as a full-fledged VAV Box when used in combination with the VAV Controller/ Actuator of your choice.
The R-650 damper comes with a Mounting/Venturi Flange that can be factory mounted on either the Inlet or Outlet end of the damper. When mounted on the outlet the R-650 becomes the perfect replacement for the old VerriTrane “VC” Series VAV boxes found throughout this area. Mounted on the inlet the R-650 can be attached directly to a supply plenum, with flex being used to connect the outlet to a diffuser in the space.
